I needed that inspiration. :)

My inspiration for the older years is a couple who were 'mom' and 'dad' to all their kids' teen and twenty-ish friends. Lots of cooking, lots of groceries, lots of late nights, but all so special!

Blessings,

Annie KateAnnie Katehttp://www.homeschoolblogger.com/ReviewsAndMore/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7476871954925416828.post-89931648208601476682009-10-21T10:43:06.701-07:002009-10-21T10:43:06.701-07:00I am right there with you, Sara. My sister and I used to go ...Oh, that is so sweet! My sister and I used to go to a neighbor's house when we were little and she always had little projects for us - cooking or crafts. I loved visiting her.

On another note...recently I had a boy over to play with my children. We made muffins and the kids painted. When his mother picked him up, I gave her a few muffins and his art. She said, "Don't think I'm doing this if your kids come to my house." Um, okay. That was a weird response. I don't think my kids will be going to her house, and it has nothing to do with the fact that they won't bake or do art. She is simply rude and not someone I want to have any influence over my children. Sorry for blabbing.Christy Killoranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07159841014641280973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7476871954925416828.post-65051819715523089622009-10-20T22:23:17.494-07:002009-10-20T22:23:17.494-07:00How sweet!
