Since Hudson has graduated to more preschoolish activities I have decided to write my Tot School posts about Meadow. Meadow is almost 1 year old. Our Tot School time consists of short bursts (10 minutes or less) of focused attention and planned play.
Come and see what we did our first week.
Day 1
I pulled out this crazy duck puppet.
She wasn't really loving it so I tried playing hide and seek with the puppet.
Which turned into Meadow hiding. Which was much more fun anyway.
Day 2Music day!
Oh the fun we had with different shaking instruments.
Meadow even started clapping along when I made the music.
Day 3
Mommy got creative. I used a paper towel tube and shoved some scarves into it. Then let Meadow figure how to get them out.
She required a little help, but eventually she got it.
Day 4
Nana got in on some Tot School action. Here they are playing with Melissa and Doug train blocks.
For mor Tot School fun head on over to 1+1+1=1

I do Tot School with my 3- year old, but my second is 8 1/2 months old. I've realized that I need to do stuff with him too. I like the paper towel idea. I'll be coming back to see some more ideas that you have for the younger tots. :)
What an absolute DOLL she is!! I love the idea of "hiding" the scarves in the tube. I baby-sit a little boy who is a little over one and will definitely be trying this with him (though, Maddie would probably love it, too!).
She is beautiful. I also love the idea of hiding the scarves in the tube. Clever.
What great ideas for such a little tot!
Fun! Love the scarf idea!
Looks like you had a great week. Love the scarf idea!!
She is just a doll! So cute! I love the paper towel and scarf idea!
The scarf and tube idea is great for little ones - I love it! Cute pictures too - she is at such a sweet age! Thanks for sharing!
she's adorable!! Looks like yall had a great week! I love the scarf idea!
oh - and you asked about the doll my daughter has...it was from the baby section at Target...it is just a plush doll with no buttons or anything that can be pulled (or eaten) off. She loves. It is so soft and squishy...she is able to grab it easily and hug it.
Its great to see other really littles on here! I love the scarf idea...I've tried that with an old receiving blanket but my son wasn't interested at all. I'll give it a try with scarves though:)
My little girl is 3 months old now. I can't wait to start doing activities with her. Thanks for the great ideas!
This is awesome that your very little tot will join Tot School. Meadow is absolutely adorable, and many young moms will learn from your great activities.
