See and Spell
While we are not set out a goal to learn to read yet we have been doing some word recognition and letter sounding here and there.
Hudson's Nana & Papa got him a Melissa & Doug See and Spell puzzle for Christmas and it is wonderful.
Hudson is able to match the letters. See a picture of the word and then sound out the word with help from me. A very useful tool in pre reading and writing skills:)

We love that too here. It's really popular with Superman.
I've seen it so many times but refrained from buying it since we made so much progress with reading last year. Now all my budget is going towards math.
We have that as well. It's a great tool and fun.
