What Did We See at the Sea?

I love hands on learning. So when the opportunity arises to go explore God's creation we leap at it. Even though it takes us two days to get to the beach (well the one my in laws live close to) it's well worth the trip.

In order to spare you a bunch of boring vacation pictures I will just tell you about the super neat things.

We saw some amazing creatures.
Emus

A Newt

And A Rather Large Crab

Something extra unique was a place called Cox Lagoon. Here a barge of iron tipped over and spilled on the beach. So some of the rocks on the beach are MAGNETIC! Isn't that neat? Here is Hudson holding up his iron catch.

We did lots of other fun things and even got some regular school in, but by far these were the highlights of our trip.

I would love to take the girls to the ocean and show them all the wonderful creatures! It is a long drive for us too! Thanks for commenting over at my blog-it helps to read/learn about others who do feel the same!

Some of the best learning is learning like that!

We love learning out in the world over at waddleeahchaa.com! We have endless pictures of learning that are priceless. I'm going to show that picture of the newt to my son. He'll love that!
