Space Case- We're off to the Moon!

Day 2 of our Space Unit Study.  If you missed our first post you can read it here.
We used cotton balls to paint moon craters (we didn't have any white paint and the yellow didn't show up very well but we could still see the craters somewhat)

I found a moon cutting practice page over at Musings of Me.
But the most fun was Oreo cookie moon phases which I found over at Spell Out Loud.
That big goofy grin is because he gets to eat his moons now :)

I love the use of Oreos to demonstrate the phases of the moon. Of course the best part is getting to eat them! Really cute!
