A Tweet Treat

This week we read The Story of the Easter Robin by Dandi Daley Mackall.  In the story the girl Tessa and her Grandmother blow out eggs and dye them... Not a craft I was willing to undertake with my children (especially since Hudson has an egg allergy).

So we made birds nests. Here is the recipe in case you are interested.

It was great fun to crush the shredded wheat biscuits into a bowl.

The mixing of the marshmallows and forming the nests was pretty gooey.

Adding the jellybean eggs without sneaking one to munch was not so easy

But the mama peeps are all cozy in their nests waiting for their babies to hatch. :)
