Rain in a Jar

Materials:
Kettle
Water
Glass Jar
Ice
A small plate or saucer

Boil the water in the kettle... fill the jar about 1/3 full of hot water... put the plate on top and the ice on the plate...watch the condensation form into rain drops in the jar...

The hot air meets the cold air. And the ice melts when it melts is rains.
