Butterfly Study- Coffee Filter Butterfly

Aren't these little critters cute?  Meadow had hers displayed on her window shade and it looks so great there!
Here's how we did it...

Supplies:

• Water color paints (and a cup of water)
• Clothes pin (the squeeze kind with the spring in it).
• Coffee filter
• Pipe cleaner
• Paint brushes (we were out so we used q-tips)
• Googley eyes
• Glue

Step 1: 

Paint your coffee filter with oodles of colors.

Step 2:

Pinch the coffee filter at the center and clip it with the clothes pin.

Step 3:

Add your pipe cleaner to the clothes pin by wraping aroun just the bottom section.  (optional: curl the ends around a pencil)

Step 4: Glue on your eyes. Once dry find a fun place to display your beautiful butterfly.
