Snail Printing

I found this super cool painting project over at The Adventures of Bear. Some adapting of tools had to be done but our prints turned out lovely.
Materials:
*knife
*kitchen sponge
*maksing tame or electical tape (My husband is an electrician so we used electrical tape).
*tempura paint
*heavy paper

Step 1- Fillet the kitchen sponge.

Step 2- Slightly overlap the ends of the 2 sponge pieces.

Step 3- Roll the sponges together and secure with tape.

Step 4- Dip your snail printer and stamp!

I decided to use red and green so we can use this project as Christmas paper later on.
