Carissa at 1+1+1=1 had a great idea for teaching number identification. I snagged the idea and used it with Hudson.
I scattered number flash cards 1-10 on the living room floor. Then I gave Hudson a starting line to run from. When I called out a number Hudson ran to find it and then deliver it to me.
He did really well recognizing most numbers but this is something we will be practicing more.

great idea!
COOL!!! I might try that with Emma with the higher numbers.
Looks like a fun idea!
OK, and your idea just inspired me for the 1st grade math! If I put the numbers on the floor, but hold up flashcards, my first grader can dash to the answer. Although I have some large foam numbers that were previously bathtub toys that I think I'll use. Thanks for the tip!
I have an award for you! So come on over and get it!
