Gobstopper Magic

What's with all the candy science around here? Well it has to do with our Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory unit/novel study. I didn't mention it to you earlier? How strange... (oops) I promise I will reveal our lapbook to you soon...
Right now though I'll fill you in on the Gobstopper science experiment we did.

Here's what you need:

• Wonka Everlasting Gobstoppers
• A clear glass bowl
• Hot tap water
• This Gobstopper Observation printable
• Pencil Crayons

The instructions are simple really.  Just put the Gobstopper in the bowl and pour the water on and watch the colors change.  Then color the circles to match the colors you observe...

You'll need some patience as you observe... But it you just can't handle sitting and doing nothing go ahead and give it a little stir.

Then since it's so much fun... do it again.
