Noah's Ark Unit Study Day 2

I am so loving having a theme this week. We have not had a school theme since we finished with Christmas in December. Check out Noah's Ark Unit Study Day 1 if you missed it

Activity #1 (language)
I printed (and colored) some DLTK Noah's Ark coloring pages sized to 5x7.  Then Craig cut them and laminated them.  Hudson used them as sequencing cards to tell the story of Noah's ark.

Activity #2 (science?)
We built a simple Megabloks city in a plastic bin.  Then Hudson poured jugs of water over the city to flood it. Poor little man in his car :)
Both kids had tons of fun playing with the flooded city and were very wet afterward.

Your flooded city is a great idea. Your children must have had a ball with this.

I have only recently started using themes as a way to direct some of our learning activities and so far it seems to be working well for us.
