Meadow chose to make a non perishable food necklace to enter in the Fall Fair happening this weekend.
Tip: we attached a piece of pipe cleaner to the end of the string to make lacing the beads easier.
I am so pleased with the vibrant colors that these dyed penne ended up being.
The recipe I used was:
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol and 25 drops of color and 2 cups of pasta for each different color. I mixed them in freezer bags and left them over night. In the morning I laid the pasta out to dry on parchment covered cookie sheets.
