This week I have for you another frugal homemade preschool tool:
The Button Cloth!!!
Sounds exciting doesn't it?
Here's what I did. Using a scrap piece of solid colored fabric (I didn't want it to me too busy) I zig zag stitched around the edge with my sewing machine.
Then using some of the few thousand bag of buttons given to me by Twyla from Our Little T-Pot, I sewed pairs of buttons randomly onto the fabric.
We use this for shape and color recognition, matching, and creative play.
What would you do with a button cloth?

Make a button cloth to button onto it out of felt or fleece (so you don't have to do any sewing). Than he can practice buttoning.
