Joseph's Colorful Robe

I simply adore how this fabric collage robe turned out.

 Materials:
Bible (we use a kids bible)
Construction paper or cardstock
elmer's clear glue (the squeeze bottle not the stick)
Fabric scraps cut into small strips (make sure you have lotsa colors!)

Instructions:

1. MOST IMPORTANT!!! Snuggle up on the couch or in a cozy chair or another favorite spot and read the story of Joseph with your child(ren).

2. Move to a more craft friendly surface.  (like the kitchen table).

3.Cut the construction paper (or cardstock) into the shape of a robe.  I made mine sorta like a t-shirt shape.

4. This is totally a judgment call on your part but I gave Hudson the glue bottle and fabric and let him design away.
5. Use this time of crafting to talk about the lessons in the bible story.  Talk about how God has a plan for each of us.  Talk about how God works all things for good.  Listen to the holy spirit and talk about what ever you are prompted to talk about.

6. Display the beautiful robe of many colors where ever you hang art in your home.
